UMA seeks to advocate for the prevention, protection and safeguarding of vulnerable groups and communities susceptible to violence, neglect and trafficking. Target groups include unregistered persons, persons living in poverty, IDPs, communities with low literacy rates, asylum seekers, refugees, girls, women and special groups.
UMA is devoted to the overlooked, hard to reach communities and groups to ensure their unique needs are understood, documented and advocated for to ensure support is targeted, relevant, contextually and impactful.
